"Hindsight" - Dreamy Western Landscape with old barn and Windmill

TITLE: "Hindsight"
I love to photograph the wide open spaces of the American West. These expansive landscapes could seem desolate to some, but in them I find so much intrigue and beauty. These old barns, built long ago, are often the only remnants of the first farms in the area, and their small stature compared to the huge open landscape creates an obvious scale by which we can measure the magnitude of the plains. The warms tones of this evening are captured forever, the grasses swaying in the wind turning a warm orange in the setting sun.

About the Photographer:

Annie travels for her photography full-time, photographing wildlife, landscapes, and rural scenes. She grew up on her family's ranch in Montana, and currently works out of her studio in Billings, Montana. Her work has been featured in television shows, books, and in magazines such as Better Homes & Gardens. She has worked with Crate & Barrel, Target, and several large-scale projects across the United States. While she loves to travel, her true love is being in wide open spaces or out in nature.
