"Ancestry" - Rustic Western photography

TITLE: "Ancestry"
A tiny farmhouse, abandoned long ago, remains weathering the years on the plains of rural Montana. These old farmhouse are a testament to the strength and skill of early settlers to the Rocky Mountain area, as they built these modest yet sturdy homes with their own two hands with resources from the area. The know-how of these rugged men and women forged the way for modern times in the countryside.

About the Photographer:

Annie travels for her photography full-time, photographing wildlife, landscapes, and rural scenes. She grew up on her family's ranch in Montana, and currently works out of her studio in Billings, Montana. Her work has been featured in television shows, books, and in magazines such as Better Homes & Gardens. She has worked with Crate & Barrel, Target, and several large-scale projects across the United States. While she loves to travel, her true love is being in wide open spaces or out in nature.
