TITLE: "Mount Sinopah"
The unique sharp angles of Mount Sinopah in East Glacier Park is cast in a purple light on a summer sunset after a rainstorm. Sinopah Mountain rises stands guard to the west of Two Medicine Lake. Sinopah means, ""kit fox" in Blackfeet, was the Indian wife of Hugh Monroe and daughter of Lone Walker, a powerful Blackfeet chief. Two Medicine Lake is one of my favorite lakes in Glacier Park, and Mount Sinopah feels like an old friend whenever I visit.
