"Lean In" - Old Grain Elevator Fine Art Photography

TITLE: "Lean In"
I love the simplicity of grain elevators. Often built by the hands of local farmers and townspeople, a grain elevator being added to the community was a big event, where everyone came together to see that the building was strong and well-built. They are the remnants of our ancestors who knew how to do things with their hands, and create these tall sturdy building that would stand the tests of time, even in environments with harsh weather. This old grain elevator is beginning to lean a bit, but remains standing tall over the green summer grasses of rural Montana.

About the Photographer:

Annie travels for her photography full-time, photographing wildlife, landscapes, and rural scenes. She grew up on her family's ranch in Montana, and currently works out of her studio in Billings, Montana. Her work has been featured in television shows, books, and in magazines such as Better Homes & Gardens. She has worked with Crate & Barrel, Target, and several large-scale projects across the United States. While she loves to travel, her true love is being in wide open spaces or out in nature.
