TITLE: "Stories from Yesterday"
The well-known red barns of rural America are icons of the past. I love to document them and their widely varying architecture before many of them disappear into time. This one has a unique "Keel" arch roof, name from the shape of boat keel. Many of these old barns were hand-built by the immigrants that came to America looking to build new lives from scratch. These old barns are a testament to the fortitude of the human spirit, and their longevity is evidence of the craftsmanship they were built with.
