On a snowy day as Fall turns to Winter, the sky fills with fluffy snowflakes that fall on this wooden barn. I love this time of year, which always seems like a fight between the seasons as the weather grows colder. The grass remains a beautiful faded green, still a remnant of summer, while the snow begins to fall turning the landscape golden tones as it goes dormant. The tall grass of summer will curl up and lose its color until Spring, when it grows tall and vibrant again. I truly love the cycles of seasons in the Rocky Mountain states, each one has its own beauty. The stillness of Fall and Winter have always been a time I enjoy, as it allows for a quiet time in life where we slow down and enjoy simple things.
