An old ghost ad, long ago painted on this brick wall, advertises for a photography business that takes photos for news, commercial, or portrait use. I love these old ads, often painted by transient artists that made a living traveling around the country painting ads for businesses across America. Many of them are lovely pieces of folk art, and I enjoy documenting the ones I find to preserve them beyond the lifespan of the old buildings they were painted on. As the modern world grows, these old ads have often been lost to time. I love their simple and graphic style.
