"High and Wide" - snow capped mountain landscape photography

TITLE: "High and Wide"
A summery day looking over the Tobacco Root mountain range, in Montana. Each year when the winter begins to fade away and Spring takes over, the landscape becomes a mash up of both seasons, when the meadows below begin to grow green, and the mountains remain covered with snow at the higher elevations. Green meadows are a sight for sore eyes in the Rocky Mountain states, where winter is long and harsh, but the mountains really are always more beautiful with a dusting of snow.

I create my work from my love of vintage floral textiles and Scandinavian design. I enjoy walks in the forest, gathering natural specimens and flowers to draw, and creating bright and colorful prints based on my natural surroundings.

About the artist:
Annie works as a full-time artist and illustrator. She grew up on her family's ranch in Montana, and currently works out of her studio in Billings, Montana. Her work has been featured in television shows, books, and in magazines such as Better Homes & Gardens. She has worked with Crate & Barrel, Target, and several large-scale projects across the United States. Her work is greatly influenced by Scandinavian design, vintage textiles, and the natural landscape she grew up in.
