TITLE: "Telling Old Stories"
I love to photograph the rural countryside in the Spring. The grass turns many different shades of green, and the summer light makes them more vivid. This bright red grain elevator stands in the tall green grass, as the sun sets over the fields early in the evening, casting a warm glow in the sky. I love the silence of these open spaces, nothing but the breeze, birds, and rustling of swaying grass. It is so far way from the insanity of modern life, and that is what I truly love about it. The simple architecture of grain elevators compliment their natural country surroundings.
