TITLE: "Down to the Cabin"
This tiny cabin was made by hand with lumber harvested from the same forest that surrounds it. Once used as a schoolhouse, it is now abandoned in the dense woods of the South Dakota hills. I waited for the sky to become colorful as the sun was setting, and I was able to capture the warm tones of the setting sun casting a few last rays of light onto the cabin before darkness settled in. The worn and weathered wood of this old cabin shows its age, but I love capturing the authentic rustic details that only come with the natural passing of time.
