"Team" - Western Ranch Horses Landscape Photography

TITLE: "Team"
A trio of ranch horses, muddy from a hard day's work, enjoy a break in the open meadows of Montana. I love to spend time in the isolated American West, photographing the lives of the animals that live there. Horses are among my favorite subjects, as they are often friendly and curious, and this group walked over to me and I was able to pet them for a few minutes. The wind was strong that day, and seeing them stand in the sun with their thick winter coats is a beautiful moment.

About the Photographer:

Annie travels for her photography full-time, photographing wildlife, landscapes, and rural scenes. She grew up on her family's ranch in Montana, and currently works out of her studio in Billings, Montana. Her work has been featured in television shows, books, and in magazines such as Better Homes & Gardens. She has worked with Crate & Barrel, Target, and several large-scale projects across the United States. While she loves to travel, her true love is being in wide open spaces or out in nature.
