"The Corral Motel" - Vintage Western Motel Sign Photography

TITLE: "The Corral Motel"
A vintage neon sign advertising for a motel with kitchenettes and family rooms, with great technicolor hues and mid century modern style. These old "motor inn" signs are some of the greatest remnants of the mid century automobile era, when families would pile into a car and take a road trip. These old signs generally had bright optimistic colors and catch slogans and names that evoked the culture of the area they were in. This one, the Corral Motel, is located in Montana in a very rural town that definitely would have been a long drive from anywhere back in the 1950's and 60's. I love the capture them and document their iconic design.
